League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) 2024 Spring continues on Saturday, February 10, with the opening round of Week 4. Over the first three weeks, the LCS teams have had a few changes to prove what they’re capable of, but even now, there’s no clear line between the best and the worst squads in the league.
This week will be teams’ final chance to show something before a one-month break, which will conclude on March 2, with the opening round of LCS 2024 Spring Week 5.
LCS Spring 2024 Week 4 – Day 1 Picks
FlyQuest vs Shopify Rebellion Betting Pick
When: Saturday, February 10, 13:00 PST
Shopify Rebellion enter LCS 2024 Spring Week 4 with the worst overall record, which doesn’t do them any favours as they face off against the current no.1 in the league. FlyQuest are 6-1 and have been building momentum for a while now, and their win against Cloud9 only proved that FlyQuest are the real deal.
However, we have to take into account that Cloud9 had an abysmal week, so perhaps we shouldn’t overreact to FlyQuest’s victory. That doesn’t take away from the fact that FlyQuest are very strong, but I’m not ready to pay such a high price.
We could see a low-scoring game, considering FlyQuest’s games tend to end with fewer kills. But that’ll largely depend on whether FlyQuest can control the game. This is also the main reason why kill handicap in this match isn’t an appealing option – regardless of the fact of how much better FlyQuest have looked so far.

Team Liquid vs 100 Thieves Betting Pick
When: Saturday, February 10, 14:00 PST
Team Liquid have done enough so far this season. They’re 4-3 ahead of LCS 2024 Spring Week 4, which isn’t a terrible spot to be in; however, I would still approach this team with caution.
As noted before, I don’t trust Liquid as heavy favourites, mainly because they’re not the most stable team. They have a weak mid-lane and have produced some shaky games so far this split, so there’s definitely a world where they slip against a weaker opponent.
100 Thieves entered the LCS 2024 season with a lot of potential, but that’s usually the case with teams fielding a young roster. Unfortunately, I’m not as bullish on them after seeing them play for the last three weeks. The lack of experience shows, and while there’s still plenty of time for 100T to find traction, they are performing like one of the worst teams in the league.
Laning phase isn’t 100T’s strongest area, which could be a problem here since Team Liquid tend to do the best in the landing phase. They are sloppy in mid-late, but if you allow Liquid to run away with the lead early, it’ll be hard to catch up to them, despite the many mistakes they tend to make in transition.
I would consider Liquid with a kill handicap (-4.5 kills at 1.83 with bet365), but I don’t have enough trust in this team, even against a weaker opponent.

NRG vs Cloud9 Betting Pick
When: Saturday, February 10, 15:00 PST
Cloud9 looked terrible last week, to say the least, so the question now is whether they’ll continue to regress or bounce back. Cloud9 were (and arguably still is) the best team in the LCS, and one bad week doesn’t change it.
The problem I have with Cloud9 is the way they lost their last three games, but it just might be one of those weeks. Until proven otherwise, C9 are still LCS’s top dogs.
NRG are 4-3 ahead of LCS 2024 Spring Week 4, which proves what we already know – they’re a decent team, but not great. They’ve done well enough for themselves but haven’t looked as great as some expected them to. Shocker, considering NRG were overrated ahead of the 2024 season.
I’ve been backing Cloud9 since last week, and at 1.96 (bet365), it’s tough not to take their side again. They looked terrible in Week 3, but they also looked completely out of character, making me wonder what happened behind the scenes.
The team could be dealing with some internal issues, in which case fading them would be the play – but we likely won’t be getting 1.96 on Cloud9 against any other team for the rest of the split.
- Prediction: Cloud9 to win – 1.96 at bet365, 1 unit

Immortals vs Dignitas Betting Pick
When: Saturday, February 10, 16:00 PST
Dignitas and Immortals met in the first round of LCS 2024 Spring Week 1 when Immortals won, and there’s a good chance they do it again. Neither team has looked great this split, but comparing their individual talent, Immortals have a slight edge.
Performance-stat-wise, Dignitas are a better team. They’re very effective in the early game (pre-10 min), but also often lost the advantage by the 20-minute mark. Immortals are ranked last in the league in Gold DIfference pre-20 minutes.
Still, the eye test proves that Immortals are playing better, and they – unlike Dignitas – have players who can pop off and carry the game. I also like overs. The total kill line is set at 22.5, which is a low number for this affair.
Immortals have averaged 10.7 kills and 12 deaths per game so far this split, whereas Dignitas have averaged 12.3 kills and 13.1 deaths. That translates to 22.7 and 25.4 total kills on average. We have a small sample size, but 22.5 is a low number for an LCS game, considering the league sits at 24 total kills average this split.
- Prediction: Immortals to win – 1.87 at Unibet, 1 unit
- Prediction: Over 22.5 kills – 1.83 at bet365, 1 unit
