League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2023 Summer regular season is more or less finished, with just Ninjas in Pyjamas and ThunderTalk Gaming left fighting for the final spot in the LPL 2023 Summer Playoffs. But while most of the teams now only play for the seeding, there are still seven more rounds left to be played before the summer split ends.
On Tuesday, July 11, we’ll see three games which have no playoff implications but are important for the final seeding, but most importantly, there are a couple of excellent betting opportunities to look at.
Top Esports vs Ultra Prime Betting Preview
When: Tuesday, July 10, 15:00 CST
Top Esports are 10-4, meaning they will lock a top four finish with a win on Tuesday, so unlike most other teams in the LPL 2023 Summer, they still have something to play for. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that Top Esports will now play to their full potential.
TES have been notoriously inconsistent throughout its history, and we’ve seen them slip a few times throughout LPL 2023 Summer. But over the last couple of weeks, they’ve looked pretty decent with wins against Oh My God (2-1), Rare Atom (2-0), Invictus Gaming (2-0) and two defeats against Team WE (0-2) and BIlibili Gaming (0-2).
Ultra Prime are out of the playoff race and only have to play this game as a formality, but again, this doesn’t necessarily mean much, nor it suggests that Ultra Prime will just roll over and die. Still, this is not an attempt to sell Ultra Prime as the better team.
Ultra Prime have achieved some success against stronger teams this season, and they have side choice, which makes me lean towards betting on the underdogs with a map handicap. And this is a game TES are more than capable of losing.
But as much as it wouldn’t be too shocking to see TES lose or drop at least one map, I have faith in the favourites to step up and finish the season on Tuesday.

Anyone’s Legend vs Oh My God Betting Preview
When: Tuesday, July 10, 17:00 CST
Anyone’s Legend joined the long list of teams eliminated from the LPL 2023 Summer playoff race following Ninjas in Pyjamas’ win against Rare Atom. But while they have nothing more to fight for, AL have been very solid underdogs this season, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they will cause issues to Oh My God.
OMG are 8-5 and already locked for the LPL 2023 Summer playoffs, but they can still finish the season inside the top six, which will secure them a favourable seeding. So much like Top Esports, OMG have to win, but unlike Top Esports, OMG are far more likely to lose their Tuesday match.
Oh My God are known to play down to their opponent’s level, which has led to a couple of upset losses this season. And now they’re set to face feisty underdogs who have been causing issues for better teams this season.
Even though Oh My God are motivated to win, Anyone’s Legend +1.5 maps at 2.04 is a bit too generous to pass on.
- Prediction: Anyone’s Legend +1.5 maps – 2.04 at Pinnacle
Team WE vs JD Gaming Betting Preview
When: Tuesday, July 10, 19:00 CST
JD Gaming are probably the best LoL team in the world, and their shock loss against Invictus Gaming doesn’t change that. That defeat cost JD Gaming a top-two finish to the LPL 2023 Summer regular season, but they still can get it, with a win on Tuesday.
I would’ve loved to see JDG win against IG, and don’t care about this game, but they have to care. Still, that hasn’t deterred me from considering backing the underdogs.
Team WE are already locked for the playoffs and can potentially move up to finish top six and secure a favourable seeding. So much like JD Gaming, WE don’t really need to win here, but it would be highly advantageous if they do. But can Team WE win?
Team WE, while not considered a top-tier team, have been playing exceptionally well in the latter part of the LPL 2023 Summer. Their record doesn’t exactly scream quality, but performance stats tell another story – a story of how Team WE are a good team.
Admittedly, JD Gaming are still much stronger, but we’re getting very generous esports betting odds on the outsiders, who have proven competitive when faced with tougher teams and have side choice. One slight concern here is that JD Gaming will likely want to win in style, but at 3.00, I’m not passing on Team WE to win one map.
- Prediction: Team WE +1.5 maps – 3.00 at bet365
